Barangaroo
Holman Engineering supplied and installed the IntelliPark guidance system in the Headland Park car park in Barangaroo Point Reserve on the western foreshore of Sydney Harbour. The two-level, 300 space car park is situated in the first major public area of the 22 hectare, $6 billion Barangaroo precinct waterfront renewal project to open.
The Holman system efficiently directs traffic to the most readily accessible locations, reducing emissions and maximizing utility of available parking lots. The Holman system provides information in real-time to the car park operators' website. The system consists of six LED signs, eight lasers for monitoring disabled bays and three IntelliPark Count points. The data is collected using Holman Engineering's specifically developed node points which allow both the collection of data and the driving of the electronic signs. The system logs and stores data locally with the data being collated on a centralised database which allows in depth analysis.

Top right: IntelliPark Monitor lasers (mounted in gray coloured conduits) are used to monitor disabled bays. IntelliPark Count lasers are also used to count vehicles entering/ exiting Level B2 in order to display remaining bay vacancies as seen on LED sign.
